  • 1.  Error for DPS on reporting jobs.

    Dear all, 

          I have a problem when I crate reporting jobs. The error occure after I finish the jobs. The error show me as;

    "1 error(s) occured while proccessing this job on the DPS"

         I can't create report for this job. After we try to check log in DPS server, located in C:\ProgramData\Symantec.CSM\Logs\DPS. I saw error on log file as following;

       How ever I can collect data, evaluate data with DPS, but I can't generate report with this DPS. 
     
         Let me show detail about our system:
    - I install CCS suit with version 10.5 update PCU_2011-1
    - I install CCS Directory suit , CCS Application server, and local AD on same server.
    - I install CCS DPS on other server. 
    - CCS DPS didn't join to local AD.
    - DPS and local AD spilte with firewall. I configure opening port as following 
    TCP: 53,135,137,138,139,145, 445, 88, 636, 389
    UDP: 53,135,137,138,139,145, 445,88,  123, 389
     
        Please help us.

    Kindly enable the verbose  error  logging  , and   then retry  to create a report. Once it fails, then look at the logs, and  send   them here...

    Also, click on the failure tab, when the  job completes, and then click Export, and  send the  file  to me

    Hi VKalani

         Thanks for you reply. For now, I try to uninstall and install DPS again. But I have other problem. New DPS cann't connect to CCS Application after I register the DPS on CCS Console. I found log of DPS like this:

    2011-03-23 06:42:31.191,2011-03-23 13:42:31.191,<my DPS Server Name>,Error,Blade.Configuration,Symantec.CSM.DPS,4004,,8,GetBladeConfiguration,,0,0,"BladeConfigSingleton - Unable to retrieve configuration for blade ""http://www.symantec.com/CSM/Components/Infrastructure/Blade?host=<My DPS Server Name>"""

     

         Service is ok and port 3993 is opend. But status of DPS still alert with yellow exclamation mark. 

     

         Other question, how to enable verbose log. I'm new on CCS.
