  • 1.  Error during Upgrade to CMS 7.5 SP1

    Posted Aug 27, 2014 10:18 AM

So I have a server that will not take the upgrade. I run SIM and choose install new product, select the CMS 7.5 SP1 and hit next a few times check the agree box and hit next. At this point the program hangs with the loading bar saying "Verifiying files for Altiris Software Management solution 7.5 SP1 (7.5.3219)" I check the Altiris log viewer and I see these errors:

    Error #1

I look at that article but was unsure because it doesnt state what type some of the entries are, and after comparing an export of the old registry keys to the "new" ones listed in the article it seems like it wouldnt import all the keys listed.

Could you, please, describe your steps more detaily about, how did you perform this upgrade?
