Have you update all the agents to your current version 11d?

Double-check your installation. This error is most often seen when attempting to back up remote servers after an upgrade. The server is upgraded, the updated Remote Agents are pushed out, but an updated Remote Agent serial number is not entered in Backup Exec, which results in this exact error.

I just upgraded to 11D and got this exact error; The remote agent push worked but called for a reboot of the target servers for remote agents, which we were not able to do. The new jobs submitted failed with this error. The serial number from 10 carried over. Any ideas?
