  • 1.  Error E0BB0184: There is not enough free space (from Norton Ghost 14)

    I am getting this error on Norton Ghost 14:
     
    2/27/2008 1:11:30 AM High Priority Error: Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: Drive Backup of IBM_PRELOAD (C:\), DATA (I:\), VMs & Pics (V:\). Error E0BB0184: There is not enough free space to maintain snapshot image on volume I:\. 0xE0BB0184 (Norton Ghost)

     I never used to get this error with Norton Ghost 10.
     
    I have another product, Diskeeper 2008, that seems to interact with VSS.  Could this be the problem?
     
    Last night I got these errors from Diskeeper, albeit prior to running the failed Norton backup:
     
    Diskeeper Control Center - ERROR Unable to check the VSS Shadow Copy status for volume I:\ .
     
    and

    Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on the Shadow Copy Provider {262b716e-bb23-41b5-aaef-e2c15e767167}. Routine details Cannot ask provider {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} if volume is snapshotted. [0x80004005] [hr = 0x80004005].
