    Hi.

I am trying to setup IT Analytics for advanced reporting with SEP. The server on which i am trying to install is Windows Server 2008 R2. SEPM 12.1.6 ins also installed on this server.

While running IT Analytics Server Setup for Symantec Endpoint Protection, i am getting the error as shown in the attached screenshot.

Can anyone kindly guide me how to rectify them? It will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

It's because IIS is not installed/enabled. SEP 12.1 does not use IIS nor does it need it. You would need to enable IIS but this may affect the SEPM negatively.

Ideally, IT Analytics should have it's own dedicated server.

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for quick reply. As you can see from the attched screenshot, IIS is installed and also enabled but still i am getting this error. Any thoughts as to what might be the reason?

Couldn't really say. From the screenshot it looks good. Have you since rebooted since adding the roles?

Is ASP.NET isntalled and registered correctly with IIS?  While ASP.NET and IIS maybe installed, they still don't register correctly.  You will have to ru nthe asp.net -regiis command from the correct version of the framework.  Google register ASP.net after adding that in the role on your sever.
