Hello,
I have a problem with bei SEP. I can not download autom. or manually new updates. I get only the Error Code 4.
I have check this KB article http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH103112&locale=en-us.
1. I have no proxy server
2. I have add the automatic Symantec Update server.
3. Enhanced Security for IE is disabled (for user and administrator)
4. The Windows Firewall is disabled and I have no other firewall.
5. I have re-register the LiveUpdate
Someone has an idea?
start run
type luall.exe
check what u get..
do a repair of SEPM from add/remove programs, it will reconfigure SEPM with Liveupdate
Thank you, I have found in a other forum the solution:
- stop the service Live Update
- start "luall.exe"
--> Update started
- after this, I have checked the LiveUpdate in the SEPM Console, problem solved.
