The Error might ocuur due to faulty connecion to the storage device. Check how often the error is generated if it had just occured once I guess you may Ignore it .

It has repreated on multiple servers and multiple times.

The error is moslty caused by an Environmental issue . Is the error generated for the same DVS file or is it for multiple DVS ? It can be that some DVS files are missing from the storage location and user is trying to retrive them.

Is there any other error logged following the one you specified ..??

If this error is occuring multiple times, If yes i would suggest to collect dtrace of archive task and storagearchive.

And i guess this event is occurring when the schedule archive happens ???
