    Hello,

    Yesterday I succesfully installed Symantec AntiVirus for Handhelds v5.1 (pocketPC install) on my Windows Mobile 6.1. It's the enterprise version of my company. I managed to update the library and did a full system scan. But today I received and error and I'm not be able to open the application any more. The message is (translated ouf of Dutch which is also my windows mobile language):
    "File 'savce' can not be opened.
    it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of the components is not found.
    You may need this file to reinstall or restore if this problem persists."

    Can someone advise me?

    Having same problem as Jacko for new version (non-enterprise) just purchased and downloaded.  Any ideas?

    I'm not aware of a version having been released without being signed, so that shouldn't be a problem.

    Security settings may not trust the certificate used to sign the application.  Another possibility is one or more files were removed from the device.

    If you have not done so already it would be best to open a case with Symantec support so that this issue can be researched in more detail.

    I noticed this happens after a soft reset of the device.  I have re-installed many times and insured the .cfg files were where they needed to be.

    that this version 5.1 for Windows Mobile EE is only for WM 5.0 and 6.0.  Maybe there is a patch for 6.1?

    Hi GobleS,

    Better than a new patch, there's a new release of the whole product.  I understand that everyone who has purchased Symantec Mobile Antivirus 5.1 can upgrade to the new release, Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile Edition 6, without charge.

    Windows Mobile 6.1 is definitely supported on SEPME 6: see Release notes for Symantec Endpoint Protection, Mobile Edition 6.0 and Symantec Network Access Control, Mobile Edition 6.0

    Windows Mobile supported versions
    This product currently supports devices that run Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 6.0, and Windows Mobile 6.1.
