This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hello everyone,

I have to Migrate computers from Windows XP to Windows 7, so I tryed first with Virtual Machines. Apparently, the Win7 image is created with no problems. When I try to deploy on XP VM the process apparently ends, but when the VM restarts (to production) the blue screen appears and it restarts again. I went to the Server and the job failed at the Deployment task but with no error message.

I tryed to deploy different ways such as follows:

- Windows 7 VM to Windows XP VM;

- Windows 7 VM to the same Windows 7 VM for testing (the only way that worked);

- Upgraded Windows XP VM to Windows 7, took an (windows 7) image, reverted to XP snapshot and deployed with the Win7 image.

Some Configurations:

- ghost image

- Image process: Reboot to (automation) - Create Image - Reboot to (production)

- Deploy process: Reboot to (automation) - Deploy Image - Reboot to (production)

- I tryed to deploy with and without deployanywhere

Someone help me please!!!

Thank you

try Prepare for Image capture

Try this,

Create Image should be executed after Prepare For Image Capture task (in case of Disk Image).

Sequence:

Prepare For Image Capture

Create Image - Disk Image -Ghost

Reboot To Production.
