Hi,

I am implementing Sharepoint archiving at one of my customers.
MOSS 2007 on Windows Server 2003 SP2
EV is EV 8.0 SP3 on Server 2003

Installed prerequisites by the book, installed SPS components on sharepoint front-end servers, ran configuration wizard.
 
but ... when using the "New site collection wizard" it goes wrong.
When I run through the wizard, everything can be entered correctly but at the end of the wizard (when using the 'Finish' button, a small error window is shown only containing a red cross. No other info, no errors in the event logs.
Result: site collection target can not be created.

For me, this looks like a bug in EV 8.0 SP3

Anyone similar experiences with the above?
