Hi!

LiveUpdate fails to update Backup Exec 12.5.
In the bkuptemp.log

Try to download hotfixes from Symantec Website manually and install

Solution

Did you mention you have Backup Exec on WIndows 2008 R2? Backup Exec 12.5 is not supported on this OS.

Ok.
I have manually patched with Hotfix 331998. I'm wainting for the support on R2. Why does it hold off?

Current release of Backup

Current release of Backup Exec will only support Windows 2008 R2 as a remote machine, with remote agent software installed and not complete Backup Exec software. So, you might have to wait for updates.
