Why does LiveUpdate show 18 updates for the installed Backup Exec 12.5 SP2 Rev. 2213 while the Backup Exec download site at http://www.symantec.com/business/support/downloads.jsp?pid=15047&version=BEWNTPVER30528 for Backup Exec 12.5 SP2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 shows only 1 update (Backup Exec 12.5 for Windows Servers revision 2213 Hotfix 331998) ?

Did you mention you have Backup Exec on WIndows 2008 R2? Backup Exec 12.5 is not supported on this OS.

I have manually patched with Hotfix 331998. I'm wainting for the support on R2. Why does it hold off?
Current release of Backup
Current release of Backup Exec will only support Windows 2008 R2 as a remote machine, with remote agent software installed and not complete Backup Exec software. So, you might have to wait for updates.
