  • 1.  Error when adding a new release

    Good day!

    After clicking on the "Add - Software release" a new window displays the error (the picture in the attachment). The log file contains error "Attempt to save messaging resource with guid a3f47e16-200c-4247-9e2a-886e1278bc8e has been blocked by the Host Resource Blacklist" and "Failed to process NSE", but I think that they have nothing to do with the addition of the new release.

    What actions should be taken to fix the error?

    I will be glad to any comments.

    Hi Alexander Cherbunin,

    Please check your Filter Blacklisted Host Computers - are you seeing Computers in this filter?
    (Manage -> Filters->Computer Filters->Blacklisted Host Computers and User Configuration Blacklisted Users and Computers)

    Also please check your Agent Registration Policy
    (Settings->All Settings->Agent/Plug-ins->Symantec Management Agent->Settings->Registration Policies->Agent Registration Policy - Allow

    Hi Network23!

    I can't find Agent Registration Policy in Management Console. Is this a "not default" configuration policy?

    ​Which version of SMP are you using?

    This is a default configuration policy!

    Hi Alexander,

    ​Oh sorry - this feature isn´t avilable in 7.1. I think it was introduced with the 7.5 or 7.5 SP1 release.

    The problem was solved by the procedure fixes database (button on the screenshot)
