    Hi,

We are testing Symantec Patch Management Solution 7.1 SP2 but when are trying to distribute or recreate Bulletin APSBS12-01 it fails.

The Bulletin consists of 5 patches and I can see that it´s the last patch which falis: "AdbeRdr1012-DA.exe" (See attachment with screendumps)

Error in log viewer on server:
    Description: [1 / 3] Pausing for 00:00:20, then retrying download of http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.1.2/da_DK/AdbeRdr1012_da_DK.exe

Description: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

    TEST:

    - Tried to recreate the packages
    - Tried "MetaData Import Task" and then recreating the packages afterwards.

I have search for solution on Symantec Connect but cant find any but it seems that failure when downloaded bulletins or patches  is a known error and that solution is to wait for new PMImport fil ?

We are testing Patch Management but I would like to know if any of you guys or girls know what to do with this error and I would like to know (those of you witch have been runing patch management solution for a while) if these error when downloading patches is common errors and how long time the Support normally fixes these error in ?

    Kind Regards Kenneth

    Hi Kenneth,

This should be resolved in latest PMImport (version 7.1.280).

I am able to download APSB12-01 without the error meessage mentioned in ScreendumpsOfError.pdf

    Thanks,

    Dmitri

    Hi Dmitri,

Yes it works fine now but it seems like the solution was to "take out" the  "AdbeRdr1012-DA.exe" patch from the Bulletin.......My question is then: "Will the DA version still be patched or.....? "
