Possible resolution

What language or localization of the product are you using?

I know there was an issue delivering Symbian definitions to the German localization of the mobile product.  This issue was occuring around the time of your origional post and was resolved May 8th.  At this point I would expect the device to update if it is experiencing the same issue.

The language is insignificant

The Problem persists in german and english version.

Under Investigation

Hi KLU,

Thanks for opening a case with Symantec Technical Support about this.  I checked the status just this morning.  As developments occur, the case owner will be in touch with you directly.

For the benefit of other forum participants: the issue is currently under investigation by Symantec developers.  The error has been reproduced, but only seems to happen when wireless liveupdate is run over the 3G connection.  Updates that were conencted over WLAN (wifi) connections on the same phone worked fine.  Also, tests with other phones and local 3G providers showed Symantec Mobile Security updates working successfully.

Thanks and best regards,

Mick

With thanks and best regards,

Mick
