Error while opening SEP management console

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I installed SEP Management Console in Windows XP Machine with Apache Web Server, but at the time ot opening the console it is showing the following error:

"No proper updates available to open the management console".

Need solution.

Never ever seen that error before

What do you mean by "with Apache Web Server"?

What version are you at?

Can you post the catalina.out log file?

De facto when AV does something, it starts jumping up and down, waving its arms, and shouting "Hey!  I found a virus!  Look at me!  I'm soooo goooood!"

 same here dude, never seen this error before, you can check for your java version and see if it meets all the criteria, and also you can post the catalina.out file as mentioned above

hi, chceck the

hi,
chceck the scm-server-o.log for the issue, also you can check login into remote console for reporting site.

Check the ODBC connection, if you could login using those credentials.
 

Whats the SEPm version? JRE installed?

Hi Binayak,

A screenshot of the error message would be more help along with the catalina.lout and scm-server-0.log files from C:\program files\symantec\symantec endpoint protection manager\tomcat\logs folder.
