    Error message:- Backup fail writing due to a problem writing to the file system invalid entry size ( Expected 117161903 but got 598528800 bytes )

     

    Please find the attached error message and let me know.

    We are using SQL 2005

    what is the DB, embedded or SQL?

     

    looks like drive space issue.

    it would be great using the SQL studio to take the backup.

    Now we are able to take back-up , but want to know why this attached error occurs.

    used sql studio?

    did you check on space?
