Several Apple Users with Symantec are getting the following error:

Error: You don't have permission to use the application "Symantec QuickMenu"

Our Apple Engineer says the school is not using an Apple Server or Workgroup Manager.

How to resolve this?

What version(s) of OSX?

What version of SEP for Macintosh?

Are these managed by a SEPM?

Do the users have Admin privileges in System Preferences>Accounts?

If they are "managed" by a SEPM, there may be some restrictions enabled there.

I believe most of them are managed, but not all users are reporting this problem.

Quick menu should be per user. Is the same user who logged in to the box who is trying to access or do you use switch user ?

Yes Rafeeq, one person will use one Mac OS. So far, this has been happining to at least 6 users.
