I am trying to automate the building and provisioning of new vms with workflow.  I can do it using powershell but want to use workflow to do it.  VMware have published a SDK with WDSL files however when i try to set up the intergration to the webservice using the WDSL file I get all kinds of errors during compile time.  Has anyone connected directly to ESX from workflow?

Y... I've heard the VMWare

Y... I've heard the VMWare services are very abstract and difficult to work w/.  I'll check w/ a customer that is using them and see if they had success.  Most customers are using NS or DS for this.

ESX - VI Toolkit - Powershell and Workflow

Hello rharveryva,

I've explained briefly in this post how I run powershell scripts from Workflow.

I hope this helps!
