ESX servers and Virtual Center

Created: 31 May 2010 | 2 comments

Hello everybody.

This what I doing right now, you tell if I wrong:

I have N esx servers and a virtual center. To back up a VM I do it from Virtual Center. I select the VM, then I change the virtual center 's admin user on VM and select the ESX server 's admin user of that VM. But this is the problem, I have that VM in a cluster of VMware and it can change of server, and when I doing the backup it changes from esx 2 to esx 5 (e.g.)

So how can I resolve this issue??

Thanks at all.

Hi hetfield,

Check this out...

Intro to AVVI - http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/310739.htm

Requirements for AVVI - http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/310563.htm

Restoring VMware VMs - http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/310551.htm

I would also suggest getting hold of the admin guide for a bit of an explanation as well.

Laters!
