EV 2007 - Norwegian Outlook add-in?
Hello.
We're in the process of implementing EV 2007, and some of our users have Norwegian Outlook installed. As far as I can see, there is no Norwegian Outlook add-in available, and attempting to install the English (or other language versions) add-in does not provide icons and menu buttons. Does anyone know if a Norwegian language version is planned, or if there is a work-around that provides functionality to languages that aren't covered by the vanilla setup files?
Cheers.

The Language of Outlook should have no effect on the functionality of the User Extensions.
I suspect some other problem here.
For example, the Icons/Menus are not shown if the user is not yet archive enabled...

Michelz,
Thanks for your reply.
If that is indeed the case, then why does the EV setup media include different language versions of the add-in? Or do these simply provide language-specific context menus and such?
The user is archive enabled, by the way.
Yes, it only provide language specific menus, help and such.
What version of Outlook are you using?

This specific user is running Outlook 2003. EV functions perfectly both on his English Outlook PC as well as in OWA, but when he logs on to his other PC running Norwegian Outlook, no buttons appear, and he can't access archives items.
Could you have a look at his Outlook, Deactivated Elements?
-> "?" -> Info -> Deactivated Elements in English Outlook.
Is it disabled?
If not, is it listed under "Extras" -> "Options" -> "More" -> "Advanced Options" -> "Add-In Manager"?

Nothing is listed under "Deactivated elements", and "Enterprise Vault" is listed in Add-in manager.
However, his Personal Forms library is empty, which I believe it shouldn't be, as the Exchange Mailbox policy is set to always deploy forms locally.
Could this be the cause?
Also, he is running Outlook 2003 SP3, which I see has some footnotes attached to it in the latest compatibility chart.
