Hi.

I just found the shortcut icon from Windows Vista client looks different from XP.

The icon on the file has "X" mark on it instead of shortcut looking.  I can open the archived item though.

Can someone tell me what the problem is ? Is that normal ?

I am using EV 7.0 SP2.

FSA server is Windows storage server .

Client is Windows Vista.

Thank you.

Cheers,

I haven't seen it with Vista yet - but would say this is normal and the new icon used by Vista to display files with the Offline bit set.  The icon itself is presented by Windows, not EV - we just create the shortcut.

Weird 'cosmetic' question - but is there any options for changing the look of the "Archived file" icon??

The X on the archived file is not "well liked" by some people - and all I can say is "don't worry, your precious files are ok - they just have a X on them now"....
