This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all,

I use Enterprise Vault 8 for Exchange. I sometimes find some mailboxes that are not archiving. I would like to know if there's a way to check whether all mailboxes are archiving.

Regards

Alberto

upgrade to ev10 to get very nice reports. :-)

See : http://techcenter.symantec.com/ecampus/enterprise?siteName=sena&courseNo=DP6002 look for 'EV10 Archiving Reports"

Only check in 8 is to verify MSMQ A5 (mailboxes to process), and to have some sort of Exchange monitoring.

You can (if you have that installed) use the EVReporting tool to asses archive-sizes (or via the Usage Report) to see if the archives grow. In addition, there will be events in the eventlog if a mailbox is not archived, because it is not synced.

There are some queries (also in the forum mentioned somewhere) that allow you to lookup the archival rate. Perhaps that can help.

Gertjan is right, with EV 8 it's hard work...  but...  EV 10's archiving reports are really great.

Hi Davide,

No doubt the archiving reports in EV 10 are more intuitive.

Along with Gertjan's suggestion you may want to subscribe to a discussion going on regarding Enterprise Vault Progress Monitor which talk on the similar lines.

Is there any way to count how much in GB the number of data that is archived by EV by using the SQL script ?
