There are some third-party utilities that do this.

There are some manual steps you can take but it can be rather tedious.

Yeah I looked at the article for the link you provided prior to posting my question, way to tedious. I was hoping there was some advancement in this since 6.0 SP2

Yes, it is pretty close last I heard and is scheduled for sp3.  As always, until it is released schedules may change.  :)

Any ETA for SP3?

I don't have a specific date but i would speculate end of Sept or first of October.

At present the Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP3 release will possibly be delivered around the End of October \ Beggining of November however this is subject to change.
