EV 8 with SP3 Client & EV 8 Base server

Hi,
We have EV 8.0 servers and we are planning to upgrade to 8.3 in a couple of weeks.
Currently we are in the process of roling out Outlook clients for EV, i am trying to confirm if EV 8 SP3 client can be pushed now, instead of EV 8 one.
Will there be any issues if Clients are of SP3 build & server runing base 8.0?
Would be great if any could clarify me on this.

Indeed no issues
It is information that is a little difficult to find, but in general supports a client one version up, and one down.
ie, the EV2007 client supports EV7.0x, 7.5x and 8.0x version (where x indicates a servicepack)
New functionality (like in the 8SP3 client Virtual Vault) is not available in earlier clients.
