EV 9.0.1 deleting archived items in additional mailbox in outlook isn't working

Hi,

Updated our ev server from version 8.0 SP3 to 9.0 SP1 last weekend.

We updated the outlook plugin also to the dcom 9.0 SP1 version for our outlook 2003 users.

Seems like we are experiencing a problem when users want to deleted an archive item from an additional mailbox in outlook.

Everything seems to be going ok. No error message is shown but the item is not deleted when using the delete button.

When using the delete button from the enterprise vault toolbar, the item is being deleted. Users find this not very helpful because the delete item is not moved to the deleted items folder in outlook.

This issue we have is just for additional mailboxes not for the main mailbox in outlook.

I'm I overlooking something or could this be an issue in the new plugin?

Firstly do you have a full client trace?

Secondly have you turned on the option for "allow scrips in shared folders" ?

Doesn't look to be anything odd in your trace.  I had a go at reproducing it, and I could.. but only on Outlook 2003.  The same client on Outlook 2007 was okay.

 

I'd suggest you open a support case, and have them ping me an email.

I will open a support case.

I also checked with the http-only outlook addin and there I also have the issue in outlook 2003.

In outlook 2010 is also seems ok.
