EV - Installation and SQL issues

Hello All,

In relation to EV installation, I have several queries if we have the following scenario: -

EV for MS Exchange
Exchange in cluster
SQL in cluster

Firstly i would like to know, which servers to point to when running the deployment scanner: -
Cluster name or the Active node of the servers (Exch, SQL)

While running the Deployment scanner, i get the following errors: -

SQL Server Permissions

Warning

 
Enterprise Vault requires database creator or higher permissions on SQL Server.
 
PRODSQL.WORKS.GOV.BH: Test Failed for the following reason:[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

SQL Server Connectivity

Failed

 
The SQL servers listed below support the following network protocols:
 
PRODSQL.WORKS.GOV.BH: NamedPipes (NO), TCP/IP (NO)

SQL Server Version

Failed

 
At least one test for the SQL server version has failed.
 
PRODSQL.WORKS.GOV.BH: Unable to connect to server.

SQL Server Reporting Services

Warning

 
At least one test for SQL Server Reporting Services has failed.
 
PRODSQL.WORKS.GOV.BH: Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is not installed on this computer.

SQL Collation

Failed

 
Unable to connect to at least one of the SQL servers listed.
 
PRODSQL.WORKS.GOV.BH: Unable to connect to server.  

 
Please advise.

Just confirmed

Just confirmed that the Named Pipes and TCP/IP are enabled on both the clustered SQL Nodes...

Can anyone please guide me through the correct way to connect?

We were using the Virtual

We were using the Virtual name only for SQL in DS...

But the issue was about names pipes and tcp/ip being enabled but remote access on SQL was not configured and after enabling that the issue go resolved.
