Enterprise Vault v7.5

Hi, I have found some old PST files on a server which I'd like to import to the vault and remove. So I tried to launch the Migrator Server Wizard and also tried to run an Import from the VAC and Im running into the below error after selecting my Vault store and hitting Next.

No info on the website about this error. Any ideas what I need to do?

Many thanks

Are you using the fully

Are you using the fully qualified server name when you specify the server?

Does the EV service account have change rights to the share where the files are stored?

Are you running this task as the Vault service account or as your own account?

Any other errors in the EV or system logs?

Hi Scanner, thanks for the

Hi Scanner, thanks for the reply...

I tried the FQDN, no difference..

The EV service account is in the  local admin group, so it has change permission for everything

I am logged in as the vault service account user while I try and run the import

Nothing relevant is registering in the event log when the error appears

Ive just spotted one thing,

Ive just spotted one thing, the security log shows some failed Audits when the error occurs:

The unusual thing about this is the username, VaultAdmin. This should be dubvaultadmin but I can't find where to change it. I've checked all over EV and IIS and cannot see where its configured to use that account. If I can change that I think I might have the problem fixed.

looks like

You have a migrator server running with the services under the 'old' account (VaultAdmin)

Verify services are running under the NEW Vault Service Account

Thank you, Gertjan

Success!   Your three points

Success!

Your three points above worked for me. I re-entered the dubvaultadmin account password, it came up with a password encryption error so I truncated a table in the database using this fix:https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/error-failed-encrypt-password

After that it accepted the password, restarted the services and PST launched for me. Brilliant, thanks for your help Liam!
