EV provisioning groups

Can someone please clarify the following:

If a user is enabled for EV by provisioning group auto enable and then at a later date manually disabled via the VAC, will they stay disabled or will they be re-enabled the next time the provisioning tasks runs?

They should remain disabled.  The auto-enable is looking for new mailboxes.
