ev10 and EV8 Compactibility

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have a qn regarding ev10 and EV8 Compactibility. Curently, I am having 2 EV sites with ev8.0 sp4 installed (lets say site1and site2). we are planning to migrate all the servers in site 1 to EV 10 while site2 is not planned for migration. will there be any issues if Site1 is in ev10 while site2 is still in EV8? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This depends on the seperation level of these two sites.
Are they in the same EV Directory? Then you need to have the same version.

If they are separate, then it comes probably down to client deployment, as the EV8 client is not supported with EV10 and the EV10 client is not supported with EV8. You could deploy the EV9 Plugin version to all computers, as this is supported for EV8 and EV10 :)

Thanks for your reply. There share a common EV directory database. So the answer would be it is not supported.
