Hello,
I'm getting ready to roll out new EV servers and planning to run EV9 on Win2k8 x64 sp2 (using wow64) since EV10 will require x64 OS down the road.
Are there are any OS-specific configuration steps i need perform once Win2k8 x64 is installed to ensure EV9 uses wow64? Or is wow64 configured properly by default and EV9 will install as if installing on 32-bit OS
Also, are there are any concerns if my EV9 Archiving & Journaling servers run on win2k8 x64 sp2 and my Compliance/Discovery servers run on Win2k3 32-bit??

Hi Jason,
Nothing special you need to do, EV will just install as a 32 bit app. I did quite a few installs on Win 2008 x64 and they went very smooth. Just be sure to run Deployment Scanner. :)
Also, remember the registry keys will now be under Wow6432Node.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault
No special concerns with CA/DA either.
