Event ID 12

We are running Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10.2 and
I am recieving an even in the event log of one of our severs (DC) every 5 minutes.
 
It is event id 12 and reads only:

1 configuration options were changed.

I've tried to manually update the definitions, etc, but no changes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does this server serve as your LiveUpdate server for your internal clients? And do you have continous liveupdate enabled by chance?

This might happen either when you upgrade from a 9.x to 10.x or when the 9.x and 10.x servers co-exist in the same server group.
 
The only thing that you can try right now is to invidualise the servers as per their product version, that is ,a different server group for 9.x servers and clients and a different server group for 10.x servers and clients.

De facto when AV does something, it starts jumping up and down, waving its arms, and shouting...

"Hey!  I found a virus!  Look at me!  I'm soooo goooood!"

Since we still manage 2 Windows 98 clients, we are running a 9.0 server as well as the 10.2 server.  When I moved the 9.0 server into it's own group, that appeared to have fixed the problem, we haven't received the info error in over 20 minutes.
