I'm seeing 8 of these in the event log and 8 items await backup

Error deleting WatchFile database record for missing Saveset file
[Partition: Users Store Ptn1]

[Saveset Filename: G:\Enterprise Vault Stores\Users Store Ptn1\2009\08-25\B\057\B0573FD6A6F70B8B8EDCF245FC8B9C41.DVS]

I've confirmed for each of them that they have been backed up and also they exisit in the folder

Any idea's

We are running ev8 sp2

 The message is saying that

 The message is saying that the saveset file is missing. Check on the G:\Enterprise Vault Stores\Users Store Ptn1\2009\08-25\B\057\ drive and look for file B0573FD6A6F70B8B8EDCF245FC8B9C41.DVS to see if it exists

 Can you open the DVS and

 Can you open the DVS and save the file out of the DVS. It could be the file is physically there but corrupt. The only way to verify is to open the file and save the contents out into it's origional format

no but i've tried various dvs

i know there was a article about opening dvs before as well

yeh we tried that but we get

for outlook 2003 and outlook 2007 we get this error

As you are running EV8, you

As you are running EV8, you can no longer just open the .DVS files as with previous versions. You may want to look at upgrading to SP2 / SP3 which has the repair option in EVSVR, this may help resolve this discrepancy.

If in doubt I would advise logging a support case.
