  • 1.  Events not being saved to sql tables

More of a sanity check here than anything on an inherited SMP server running 7.1 MP1. Does anyone know of a setting or a cause on why an SMP would not store Events? Specifically, those tables that begin with EVT_NS_*.

The SMP server is functioning normally, it processes inventories and solution specific events such as EVT_Monitor and EVT_Software_Update, but not the EVT_NS ones.

The SMP agent global settings pages does have all the check boxes checked to send events. So before I open a support ticket, does anyone know if there is something specific to coresettings.config or a registry key that would prevent this type of archivng?

Did you disable NS Event Logging?
