excahneg journaling archiveing process very slow

Dear Friends,
I have enterprise vault 9.0 for exchange server,
Suddenly for last 3 days my exchange journaling archive process getting very slow. For that rezones exchange MSMQ goes high
So can you provide solution?

Have the number of emails
Have the number of emails into the Journal mailbox increased?
Are there some large emails that the task is trying to process which may be stuck in the mailbox.
Is Anti Virus scanning MSMQ?
Has anything changed in your environment?
What are the ping responses etc
Have you performed SQL maintenance or changed anything in SQL?

Also, when you say MSMQs are getting high, which Queue's and how high? As an example, if the Storage Archive Queue is the one growing, it's probably communication issues with the storage device, not Journaling. It could also mean that EV could be in backup mode.
If Storage Archive goes above 1500 items, it will slow down journal processing.
