I'm using EndPoint version 12.1. In my computer, a script is created to update files in a specific folder using ftp. The script will be executed during system startup. I have created exception for that folder. However, whenever a executable file is updated by the script, it will be incorrectly reported as virus once it is executed and finally isolated. At that time, I need to restore it mannually and create exception for that file. This problem will come out again when the file is updatel, even i have created exception for that executable file. It seems that exception only work for exactly same version file. Any update to that file will be treated as new file and new exception is required to create.

Is there any way to solve it ?

    Thanks.

Try disabling SONAR and see if it still persists.

    Almost similar problem here: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sep-121-ru1-sonar-detecting-inhouse-oneclick-applications-trojan-worms
