    Hi

In creating an exception list , I have both 32bit and 64bit OS servers/workstations. If I use the variable %PROGRAM_FILES% - is this valid for
64bit as well or do I have to add a seperate exception for programfiles(x86) - 64 bit OS.

    Any confirmation would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

In newer versions of the SEPM it should cover both if you select the prefix from the exceptions drop down menu see below link

    check this

Using the Centralized Exceptions prefix variable [Program Files], C:\Program Files is not excluded on 64-bit Windows

    https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH145715.html

Workaround: When creating a Centralized Exceptions exclusion for the "C:\Program Files" (64-bit) directories, do not use the prefix variable [Program Files]. Instead, include the full folder or file path, such as C:\Program Files\
