I've been getting this error alot within the last month. No changes were made to the server. Does anyone know how to resolve this error?

This is from the Task Server component. Do you use the Task Server?
    Also, these may help: https://kb.altiris.com/article.asp?article=30711&p=1

I do have Task Server installed, but we don't use it (We use the Altiris Deployment server for installation tasks). We mainly use the Asset management piece of NS. I don't see the "Altiris Object Host" Service, so I’m not sure if that's a problem or not.

You need to identify a task server, meaning assign it to a collection in order for clients to register to it. Task Server is installed with the latest version of Software Delivery.

FYI the future direction (NS7) is to use more of task server, so it's not a bad idea to get to learn it.

I suppose you could uninstall task server, but it could break some other dependencies.
