The exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) occurred

Recently we installed symantec anti-virus software on our Versa Views. Since then I get a pop up The exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) occurred in the application at location 0x004cdacf. Do you know what this means, and how do I get rid of it?

Were you running a scan when this happened? If so try deleting your cookies from your browsing history and try running the scan again.
