Exchange 2010 DAG backup stuck on taking snapshot

Hi ,

I am trying to take a backup of exchange 2010 DAG directly on tape . during snapshot process backup becomes stuck. i am attaching a bpfis logs for the reference.

Check Windows Task Manager for hung bpfis processes:

11:06:48.927 [4528.1696] <4> bpfis:  INF - Found the corresponding bpfis create process for PID 4100
11:06:48.927 [4528.1696] <4> bpfis:  INF - The corresponding bpfis create process is still processing, wait for it.

Please tell us which NBU version and patch level?

Also check status of VSS writers on Exchange server:

vssadmin list providers 
vssadmin list writers    
 
Please also share policy output. On master, run:
bppllist <policy-name> -U
 
We can see that you have NEW_STREAM at the top of the Backup Selection but it seems that NEW_STREAM is evaluated as an actual file list.
Do you have Allow Multiple Data Streams selected in policy attributes?
