TouchDown

I was moved over to Exchange 2013 (EWS) recently.  Immedately after that change, TouchDown stopped retrieving mail and calendar events. ActiveSync is not a viable solution for personal phones, is there another whay to connect to the Exchange Web Service site?

Unfortunately the EWS connectivity was designed and tested only for use against Exchange 2007, before activesync was established as the main protocol to be used. Hence ActiveSync is the only viable and supported connectivity mechanism to the newer servers. In addition, EWS and WebDAV are insecure protocols (in the sense that they dont have a concept of security policies) and are very much discouraged in the enterprise in favor of ActiveSync.
