Exchange backups fail when run on schedule
Hi,
I have have Backup Exec 12.5 backing up a number of servers. They all operate without issue except for one Exchange server. That Exchange server always fails with the following error when run under schedule:
Error : e000fe1f - The device cannot be found
I have tried:
- Live update as of yesterday
- Removed, rebooted and reinstalled Remote Agent
- Deleted the job and selection list, recreated
- Tested with GRT disabled
The frustrating thing is:
- It always works fine on our other Exchange server
- It absolutely always works if I right click the job and hit "run now".
It's been this way since we built the server, which was prior to the release of 12.5 SP1. Logging on and running backups manually is becoming tiresome. Any assistance appreciated.

Hello,
To isolate the issue we need to creata a new job on the problem exchange server and schedule it.
If this job runs fine, we need to create a new job (duplicate of the original one)

We do not require the version of Exchange Server as the job runs fine when we run the job manually.
