Exchange Mail Box Restore

we are running symantec exec backup 2010 R2 on Windows 2008 R2 64 bit Standard, trying to restore mail box from tape.

the data base shows but i cannot extract the data base particular tape.

opening in other tapes.

Have you tried to re-inventory & catalog this particular tape ?

You may consider duplicating the backup sets from tape to disk & recheck the restore selections.

You should also consider an upgrade to BE 2010 R3 with SP3 as this is a free upgrade. You use your current licenses, and BE 2010 R3 fixed a number of issues with previous versions.

To isolate the issue as suggested please perform the steps suggested by vjware and pkh using the new catalogs folder.. I.e. create a folder with name catalogs on root of c:\ drive and than change the location of catalogs from tools | options | catalog
And change the path to new one restart the services and than perform the above mentioned steps...
