Exchange mailbox has been removed, Enterprise Vault can still access archive mailbox?

Dear All

I am wondering that when MS Exchange mailbox has been removed, does EV still maintain that mailbox archive which can still be accessed those archived mail item? Please help to advice. Many thanks.

Hi Yes,

 
If a mailbox is removed, the archive will stay in place. You can access the archive via search or archive explorer, but you will need the relevant permissions of course.
