Exchange Restore Issue

I am running NetBackup 7.0.1 (master server and client) when I am trying to restore a Storage Group with 300Gb of data, the status code will appear as 0 (successfully completed) however, when I see the activity, it would only restore about 100 Gb worth of data.

 

I can't get any help from Symantec. Anyone Run into this issue?

File Server Backup

I am backing up a file server with 1.2Tb of data. I created a policy in my master server to backup that drive individually. Backup completes with status code 0 (completed successfully). However, the backup would only backups 300+Gb total data.

Is this white space? Or is am I missing a lot of data?

Confused

You said this was and Exchange backup, then you said you were backing up the disk.

 to backup exchange you must use the NB exchange agent to backup exchange

 what verssion of exchange are you backing up and are you using the agent?

I don't have to know how to spell....I work on Unix.

No, this is a file server backup using MS-Windows. Missing about 3/4 of the data from file server.
