Exchange Transaction Log Backup

Hello to all:

Keep getting the "access denied" error when backing up Exchange Information Store.  My thinking is, since I have limited space where the transaction logs exist, that the problem is that BE doesn't have space to temp the log files while backing up.  Does this make sense?  Does BE need space for all transaction logs or does it backup each one individually?

Thanks,

Nick

Did you make the exchange user to use for BE rights to exchange?
Else, you might wanna check the guide on that.

If I read your question right, all stores are using the same credentials.  I only have a problem with one of the stores and all permissions are the same.

I did a full backup of the stores last night and received no errors.  Yet, the transaction logs are still not getting purged.  I may try to remove them manually after determining if they've been committed and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply.
