Exchange2010 Backup Failing With Status Code 130

Hi All,

We are Using Exchange 2010 NBU version 7.0.1

we are getting following Error.

This does not look right

This does not look right "Unknown Type".

Is the policy type set to "Exchange", what snapshot provider do you use. Plain VSS or some sort of HW to do the snap.

Enable debug log [install_path]/netbackup/logs/bpfis, this debug log contain info about snapshots creation process. Also set "Verbose" to 5 in the troubleshooting tab in the BAR GUI.

Assumption is the mother of all mess ups.

I guess there is a system related issue..

hi,

Check for any error generated by Windows event viewer.

I guess there might problem in youe system it self...

and yes Nicolai mentioned that "unknown tape " is not the way backup happens.

I have the same problem and i think i resolve it by disabling UAC in W2K8R2. Now is backups works fine.

UAC = User Account Control

A security feature introduced with Vista & 2K8 OSs.
