This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have successfully installed PowerShell2.0 then why do I keep getting the following warnings in my applicaiton logs:

Service encountered an exception retrieving Exchange ActiveSync inventory in ProcessEasQuery() [2]:

The Windows PowerShell snap-in 'Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Admin' is not installed on this machine.

Thanks you.

I think you'll need to install the Exchange ones on the machine.

Thank you for your response.

It is installed and I can pull up Exchange Mailboxes on this server but I keep getting warnings!

Do you have Exchange 2010 installed?

The  PowerShell snap-in 'Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Admin' is for Exchange 2007 and does not exist on an Exchange 2010 Console Installation.

You can ignore this warning. We get it on all installations.

Yes, we run Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2007 and in the midst of migration which will take some time.

I installed the Exchange 2010 Admin Tools on the SMM Server.  I had a feeling this is a false alarm but still wanted to throw out the question here ....
