  • 1.  Exclude Program Files (x86) folder

    I have created an exclusion policy to not scan Prefix variable: [PROGRAM_FILES] Folder: \AppDir and checked Include Subfolders. The policy was applied to a certain group in our SEP Console.  The Servers in the group are running Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit, but the installed applcation I am making the exception for is 32-bit and installed in D:\Program Files (x86)\AppDir.  So does the prefix variable I have specified above exclude the x86 Program Files folder?

    We're running SEP 12.1 R3.

    No 

    it will take it as C ( OS drive)

    do not select any prefix

    specify the complete path

    then use this to verify it

    Add in the complete path, don't use the prefix variable
