I’ve got a drive letter that I wish to exclude on only one server. X: for example.

Can I specify it in the SEP central exclusions policy using the path like this \\server\x$  ?
Or is there another way of excluding it from just the one machine?

I don’t want it excluded on any other machines, and I don’t really want to go down the path of different policies for different servers.
I dont really want to use local exclusions either.

Hope you guys can help out.
Thanks in Advance!

A suggestion

Hello Mark,

Try creating a new group and inherit the policy from the group that the computer was already reporting so that the computer has the same settings and then add a exclusion on to the new group for this drive.

Thank you,

Hi Mark, Could 1 computer be

Hi Mark,

Could 1 computer be put in both groups?
Or we have to separate it to the existing, and copy all the needed policy for that server?
Looks a little bit work to give the 1 server all the other policies.
Thanks.

You need to create a

You need to create a new group and inherit the policy from the group where that client already belonged, so that all the existing policy will still be applied. You can add another policy to the new group created.
