  • 1.  existing Symantec endpoint protection un-installation

    Can any one help me out,

    i would like to un-install SEP from all of the clients in domain (280 PC's)

    is there any way to un-install SEP by using Batch file or, any tool to un-install all once

    your response highly appreciate.

    Yes sepprep will do it

    Uninstall third-party security software using SEPprep

    However, SEP will upgrade over older version. Why do you want to uinstall?

    Can also try this one:

    Remotely uninstall Endpoint Protection clients using the competitive uninstall tool

    Dear Brian,

     

    I try to install SEP over Older version, but SEP is not getting communicate with SEPM, i can able to see that new version of SEP present in Clients, but the communication with SEPM is null

    have you try to replace sylink.xml ?

    I suggest you can contact symantec support may be it's bug we received multiple thread same problem.

    Push a new sylink file to the client from the SEPM, see here:

    SepPrep will help you. you need to mark Yes for RemoveSymantec
